Hi, I’m Melanie
Thank you for looking to book my fields. I have been lucky enough to work with dogs for over 25 years and my husband and I bought this field back then to create a safe and secure space for them to have total freedom. I still own 3 rescue dogs and here they can have the life that they deserve, without fear and without me trying to get them back!
The fields
The fields are untouched pasture with lots of native plants and trees and are rich with wildlife (no pesticides or chemicals have been used on this land in that time). I try to keep a fine balance between allowing nature to thrive and the field being user friendly and this means that the grass is left long enough for the insects and butterflies to enjoy and rabbits can hide away in the bushes and brambles.
A little bit of heaven
Unfortunately, because of the fencing, deer and badgers no longer appear in the field but there are still exciting scents for the dogs to follow. This is a countryside walk with a glorious view over the surrounding valley and out as far as Princetown. I have never grown tired of sitting at the top of the field and enjoying that view, whatever the weather, while my dogs do their own thing and have their own adventures.
